But why only pandurangwadi? i heard maharashtra government was going to pass some legislation to protect buildings from demolitions.

That was only for Ulhasnagar. Those sindhi guys are Congress voters, so special law for them.
We Dombivlikars are Marathi and are known to vote for Sena-BJP, so no law for us.
Man we need to kick some Govt ass by doing something.

no party is going to miss on 1.5 million votes irrepective of the people they support.
In such a situation political negligence would be dangerous for political parties. However they are very slow, till then couple of buildings might hav fallen!
