The EDUCATION is basic need of life. Dombivli has best educational facilities in suburbes below Thane(good, comparing towards Mumbai). There are about 150 high schools. Higher education is also good here.

I have been thinking on this for a while...and i had concluded that, school infrastructure is in very poor shape in dombivli, even the quality of education. I guess its the attention which parents in Dombivli (mainly middle class) give towards education of their child.

I reckon one major problem in current system followed by schools is over crouded classrooms. We can find 100 or even more students in one classroom right from junior levels, which prevents pupils from personal attention, which is vital to spot peculiar talent that the pupil may possess. Hence such potentials go unnoticed. Other drawback is lack of quality sports facilities and quality trainers. To sum it up, I think quality is being compromised for the sake of quantity which is a cause of anxiety.

I think there are more important issues regarding education system in Dombivli:

1. Lack of focus on improving communication skills, especially in English, although many schools are putting their best efforts

2. Less emphasis on extra-curricular activities, which basically widens gap between academically good and average students

3. Lack of efforts towards building more balanced personality

I strongly agree with your second point. Also, result of lack in personality development, a Dombivlikar student lacks confidence when he comes out of school in comparison to students from other suburbs.
